The Alpha Systems BL-60 Barracuda, nicknamed the 'Cuda, is a high-powered airship, geared mostly towards trading and performance. It is the fastest zeppelin ever built, with a stock top speed of 550 kph, and is an able combat craft as well. The Barracuda became famous after its debut as the top-tier pleasure cruiser and trading ship of wealthy Skyrates, although it has become somewhat outdated since then and the manufacturer has not made any updates to the basic design.

[edit] Flying the Barracuda

The 'Cuda was originally the top-tier performance trader, but it has been downgraded for the current round. It is still an excellent trader, despite its 68 stock cargo, due to its upgradability and its speed. Make sure to add a turbo charger and a super charger to maximize speed, which should be about 980 kph.

In combat, the 'Cuda can hold its ground against low-level enemies, but it's no fighter. If you feel the need to fight with it, make sure to fill that one gun slot, and maximize Maneuver by adding Redesigned Wings. Also, be aware that the only maneuvers it can perform are airbrake, afterburner and sideslip. For the most part, however, the 'Cuda can outrun pirates, so feel free to set up a long queue and watch the profits flow in.

[edit] Fighting the Barracuda

It was never very hard to shoot down 'Cudas. Their Maneuver is fairly low, so with any somewhat-maneuverable plane, they are easy targets. Avoid the side arcs and get behind them, slow down and shoot until they're finished.
