A fleet of Bismarcks is truly a terror to behold. They can pack enough cargo for long sieges, have a powerful weapons array, and their propellers allow them to do some of the maneuvers typical blimps can't do. It's slow, but hey... it's a zeppelin.
[edit] Fighting the Bismarck
In past games the Bismark was a terror to behold with its wide arcs, high armor, and massive firepower. The current one however doesn't live up to its former reputation. The current Bismark has only three large guns, with one up front, and two turrets to the rear. This leaves the Bismark's defenses with a very large hole on the sides big enough to fly smaller planes through. The plane also has a massive silhouette making it hard to miss, and while it has the second highest armor in the game this doesn't really add up to much in the end.
Your best bet when fighting the Bismark depends on what plane you are flying. In faster planes quick passes towards the side are your best option. In planes with lots of overlapping arcs you can hit it head on and destroy it before you take much damage. In trading planes your best option is to use your rear arc against it while turning to avoid its front arc.
