In the Old World, also known as Skyrates version 2.1, all the Skylands were much closer together than they became in later versions. There were only 3 tiers of planes, and a Skyrate could change between 3 factions (Blue, Green and Red) by visiting the Tavern of any Skyland and speaking with the "governor" (a NPC). The economy was extremely stable; Trade routes would last for months. It was a much different time, but one which many "Old Worlders" remember with fondness.
