Order of the Lion

The Order of the Lion of the Commonwealth was an order of chivalry established by Admiral Svendheim to reward those who served his Commonwealth above and beyond the call of duty. It was awarded to both civilians and military personnel, and included five levels (listed in decreasing seniority):

• Grandmaster (GLC)
• Master (MLC)
• Knight (KLC)
• Officer (OLC)
• Associate (ALC)

The title of Grandmaster was only awarded to one individual - Svendheim himself - and those of Master and Knight were granted sparingly. Though the Order itself dissolved with the Commonwealth, the medallions given to members and the titles they presented are still used by many who received them.
