Born on the snow-covered skyland of Svalbard, Captain Borevich was a mercenary for Verron Kadath in the Guild War. Although his heart lay with the Guild, and he could see clearly through the weakness and corruption of his employer, he had no allegiances. In his own words, "Mercenaries do not have the luxury of advancement through loyalty, nor the time for or burden of politics. They do their job, get paid, and get out." The freedom and liberty of the job drew Borevich deeper and deeper into the lifestyle of a privateer.
After the war, with his employer on the run, Borevich found himself out of work. But his previous experience proved him useful to the Guild. There he found the work and freedom which he desired. Peace, however, is far from what he is used to. It took much time to get comfortable with the current state of affairs, but his desire to learn, understand, and help is unwavering.

Borevich spent most of his flying days in a two-kit Seahawk, the Kamchatka. His favorite build, it has now become obsolete, and an upgrade is needed. He has not settled down comfortably in another rig since selling it, and now trades planes frequently depending on what the circumstances call for.
